Enabling JavaScript in Your Web Browser

JavaScript is a computer programming language that is understood by most Web browsers, and is used to enhance Web pages. Many Web sites use JavaScript to add interactivity to their pages, and this Web site is no exception.

It is important to note that JavaScript must be enabled to properly view this Web site. Please refer to the instructions presented here in order to ensure that JavaScript is setup and working correctly in your Web browser.

To Enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer:

  1. Open Microsoft Internet Explorer and go to Tools > Internet Options... and click on the Security tab.
  2. Make sure "Internet" is the selected "Web content zone" (the globe icon at the top left), then click the Custom Level... button.
  3. The Security Settings dialog box will open. Scroll about 90% of the way down to the Scripting section, and make sure that Active scripting is enabled.
  4. Click the Security Settings dialog box’s OK button, then click the Internet Options dialog box’s OK button, and reload the Web site.
  5. If it still doesn’t work, try the following:
    1. Close all but one Internet Explorer window.
    2. Clear the browser’s cache.
    3. Close the browser window.
    4. Restart Internet Explorer.

To Enable JavaScript in Firefox:

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox and go to Tools > Options....
  2. The Options dialog box will open. Click on the Web Features tab (the globe icon on the left).
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript check-box is checked.
  4. Click the Options dialog box’s OK button, and reload the Web site.

To Enable JavaScript in Safari:

  1. Open Safari and go to Safari > Preferences....
  2. The Preferences dialog box will open. Click on the Security icon (the lock image on the top, second from the right).
  3. Make sure the "Web Content" section’s Enable JavaScript check-box is checked.
  4. Close the Preferences dialog box and reload the Web site.

To Enable JavaScript in Netscape 6+:

  1. Open Netscape and go to Edit > Preferences....
  2. The Preferences dialog box will open. Click on the Advanced icon.
  3. Select Scripts & Plugins.
  4. Select the Navigator check box under “Enable JavaScript for”.
  5. Click the Preferences dialog box’s OK button, and reload the Web site.
