Overnight
Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier

If the local mountain bike scene, growing in sophistication and sustainability, has a crash pad, it's the 105-room Pinnacle Hotel.  Highly rated for it's environmental achievements in the areas of policy, action plans, education and communication, and subtly educating guests about everything from African orphans to sustainable seafood, this is one ambitious property.  Not surprisingly, the rooms and architecture are stunning (especially starting under $200) with a waterfront location overlooking the downtown skyline.  There's also a pool and an entire floor reserved for yoga, sauna' s and steam rooms, in addition to the enviable hotel gym.  For outdoor Zen, the Pinnacle has developed a package with Endless Biking for guests jonesing to pedal down a legend.

Dinner
The Lobby Restaurant and Lounge
138 Victory Ship Way; 877-986-7437

Located in the (wait for it) lobby of the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier, The Lobby Restaurant dishes the bounty of BC waters with a sustainable Oceanwise-approved commitment to responsible seafood harvesting.  Chef Joel Green uses fresh ingredients (local as much as possible) creating a fresh spin on West Coast contemporary dishes.  The room is as open and fresh as the food - sun-filled and overlooking Burrard Inlet.
