Corporate Responsibility
Like all good corporate citizens, we take our commitment to the community and our planet seriously.
That’s why we started our Pinnacle at the Pier Green Team, which has one mission: to make our hotel a green and sustainable workplace that we can be proud of – and then to make sure we keep it that way by staying on top of trends and new technologies.
We’re proud to say that we have met the international Green Key standard for environmental achievements in the areas of policy, action plans, education and communication.
We also believe we’re extremely fortunate to live and work in British Columbia – and to offer such a wonderful environment to our guests. Which is why we want to do what we can to help others less fortunate around the world, and have selected the Orfund Foundation as our charity of choice.
Our Teddy Bears
Every room in our hotel has a special Teddy Bear available to be taken home for $25. We are pleased to donate 25% of the proceeds from all bears sold to The Orfund Foundation.
The Orfund Foundation is a non-governmental, Canadian-registered charity dedicated to providing relief and support to African Aids orphans.
Community Nights Benefit Program
Part of our mission at the Pinnacle Pier is to support local organizations that positively impact the North Shore community. One way we accomplish this is through benefit nights, held on Mondays, where local charities, service clubs and athletic teams have the opportunity to reach out and raise awareness about the good work that they do. They also receive a portion of the evenings’ sales. If you are interested in holding a benefit at Pinnacle Pier Lobby Restaurant please fill out the benefit guidelines and return via email to: Rosie Aceves or click here for More information >>
Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup
Every September the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier team rolls up their sleeves for a day to participate in the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup in an effort to clear aquatic debris from our precious shores. Being a part of this effort we are joining tens of thousands of Canadians across the country leading community cleanup events. The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup has a mission to promote understanding and education about shoreline litter issues by encouraging Canadians to rehabilitate shoreline areas through cleanups.

Clean the World
We donate our leftover AVEDA soap and shampoo products to be recycled into soap and distributed to impoverished people around the world by the non-profit organization, Clean the World. To date our efforts have collected 723 pounds of soap which has resulted in 3,856 bars of recycled soap being distributed to families & communities in need. Learn More about Clean the World >>
